Today we drove though the amazing, spectacular, breath-taking countryside stretching from Jasper to Banff (pronounced "Banft", we believe) to not quite Lake Louise. It was beyond words, and the pictures below don't convey the majesty of it all, but that's what we've got.

As we got ready to leave this morning, after a hearty breakfast of cold cereal and warm bread (The toasters provided were worn out.) we found this view as we loaded the car. To some degree it compensated for the poor meal.

Kate, I think you took a lot of these and you have outdone yourself. I especially love the path between the snowy trees and the striking, amazing mountains.
