I'm pleased to record that with Wendy's help, we got the tulips properly covered. They are now 9 inches deep in soil worked to 15 inches and amended and strengthened. If those damned tulips don't prosper far into the future, I'm going to be really, really annoyed.
The deer wanted a quick snack so I let them forage in the garden. Hope that's okay!
